SUPPORTING KELSO STUDENTS
KBCA events give Kelso students volunteer opportunities to get involved and give back to their community. The funds those events raise have sent three students to FBLA Nationals and one to FCCLA Nationals.

Our events give Kelso students a way to give back and raise funds that have sent four students to national competitions so far.
WHY IT MATTERS
Competing at a higher level can be a real burden for talented students and their families. These students have put in the work, sometimes trying something brand new, and getting to state or national competitions can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Through our events and our partnership with Kelso High School’s FBLA and FCCLA chapters, we’ve helped send multiple students to compete, giving them cultural and educational experiences that will serve them for years to come.
That partnership has also grown into a thriving volunteer program. Kelso students help promote our events, prep and run registration, serve as crossing guards at Downtown Kelso Trick-or-Treat, and clean and beautify the city. Along the way, they build real investment in and pride for their community.
HOW YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT KELSO STUDENTS
Come to an event. The best way to support Kelso students through KBCA is to show up. Ticket sales and registrations from fundraisers like the Hilander Hustle go directly toward sending students to competitions.
Own a business? Local businesses have doubled the impact of our fundraisers by sponsoring or matching event proceeds. Reach out to partner on our next one.
Want to give to Kelso students year-round? We recommend the Kelso Schools Foundation for general donations outside our events.
